 SP Series are multi-alcohol base nonionic surfactants which  have Sorbitan fatly acid ester and  TW Series are ether type nonionic sufactants which are adducted Ethylene oxide to  SP.

SP Series are W/O tyhpe emulsifier, and TW Series are O/W type emulsifier. SP Series are produced by Sorbitol and Fatty acid, such as Lauric, Palmitic, Oleic acid. SP-40 and SP-60 is difficult to solve in water but SP-80 can be dispersed or emulsified. These products appear excellent safety functions, such as nontoxic and tasteless among all of nonionic surfactants. So, Apply to food additives, pharmaceuticals, cosmetics industry. Especially,  TW Series are not used on their own as they are scarcely soluble in water by themselves. However. an excellent emulsifying effect is shown when they are used in combination with other.
